Hey Guys, 

Something I've been doing a lot of recently is healthy eating. Not to loose weight or for fitness, just really to get healthier. I'm someone who believes you should be happy in your skin no matter what society tells us. If you're not happy then changing the way we look is fine too. It is important that we feel comfortable in our skin, with our bodies and with the way that we look. 

One thing I came to realise was that I wasn't eating the right foods and I wasn't feeling good about myself. I believe that as long as you're happy and healthy then what you eat doesn't matter. But for me I wasn't happy. I was feeling bloated and didn't feel good about myself. So I decided to cut out most of the bad foods and eat the good foods.  It wasn't because I want to loose weight, I'm happy with the way that I am. I just want to get healthier. 

My favourite snacks are fruits! 

I love healthy fruits to eat such as Strawberries, Melon, Mango, Grapes . . . I love fruit. 

Especially now that the weather is warmer, fruit is refreshing and it's a light snack but fills you up! 

I often snack on fruits and have been doing so for a while now as it makes me feel better. I feel less bloated. I feel fuller and I am fuller for longer. I feel better in myself. I have more energy and my body feels healthier. I always try and have fruit for breakfast or the first snack of the day. This could be a banana for breakfast or grapes and strawberries or I'll have it a little bit later in the day. 

I have noticed a change in my skin since I have been snacking on fruit. It is smoother and feels nicer.  But not just on my face, on my body too! I haven't had as many spots as I had done in the past. My hair feels a lot thicker. My hair would fall out often and since I've been snacking on healthier things less hair has been falling out. 

I quite like fruits on a Greek yoghurt. A spoonful or two of yoghurt on top of fruits such as bananas, grapes, strawberries is quite nice as a healthy desert or snack. Or carrots or cucumber with a humus dip. 

One thing I haven't tried yet but want to is Greek yoghurt and strawberries frozen. You can either fill a tray with Greek yoghurt and pit the strawberries in it or you can dip the yoghurt onto the strawberries and freeze them.l I haven't tried it yet but it's something I'll defiantly be doing on my day off! 

I was looking up the benefits of eating fruits and I was quite impressed with what I found out! 

I found out that most fruits contain antioxidants like Vitamin C which can help prevent different things/illnesses such as high blood pressure, diabetes, coughs, colds and even cancer. 

Banana's can prevent wrinkles and acts like a natural botox for the skin. IT keeps skin looking healthy and gives it a natural glow.

 Grapes Red or Green can make skin look youthful! 

Mango is good for Acne. It's a good cleanser for the skin. 

Melon is good for the hair and can make hair grow and become thicker. It prevents hair loss too! Kiwi is good for this too! 

Oranges are good for treating dandruff! 

Strawberries are low in calories and are good for weight loss. They too help keep those wrinkles at bay!

I was looking online for different fruits or healthy treats and I came across is Nuts.

They are a company who provide healthy snacks worldwide. 

I took a look at their website and was quite impressed with some of the products they offer.

Here are some of the products have recommended as a healthy snack -

Goji Berries can be used in baking such as cakes or cookies, can be put in teas or smoothies and can be eaten on their own or put in cereals and porridge.  These will also make your skin glow and make it healthier!

These can be used in baking healthy cupcakes, can be eaten right out of the bag or in smoothies. These will make your skin smooth and nourish it.

You can use this to make cakes or other baking products or can be used to make Ice Cream. They also recommend using Matcha Green Tea Pancakes which you can find here

Chia Seeds Chi seeds have many benefits for us. They are great for weight loss, can reduce blood pressure and are full of Omega 3. These could be used in baking healthy snacks or put in porridge.  

Chia Seeds can help prevent Acne.
